Philips’ Philharmonic Choir
Founded in 1937, the Philips’ Philharmonisch Koor (PPK) is a mixed choir of around 70 well trained and enthusiastic singers. Initially membership was exclusively for Philips employees, later it was open to everyone.
Many members still have a connection to Philips, which has been our main sponsor from the early days. The majority of our members are Dutch but we also have a growing number of expats and singers from all over the world. Most are employed by international companies located in the Eindhoven Brainport region.

Our motto: practice with dedication, perform music at a high level, and enjoy the pleasure in doing so.
Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. Euronics concert with Ilse de Lange
We give three to five concerts or series per year in various venues, which include famous concert halls like the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven and Tivoli-Vredenburg in Utrecht. Concerts vary from more contemporary works like Porgy and Bess to large-scale choral works in the classical concert repertoire like Bach’s Matthew Passion and Mahler’s 8th Symphony. An overview of all our recent concerts can be found here.
